Lonnese M. Bodison, BSW – Case Manager/Community Liaison
With over 12 years at VBG, Lonnese is highly dedicated to her clients and the firm. She works closely with the attorneys to ensure proper development of medical malpractice cases by conducting initial consultations, reviewing and summarizing medical and personal records and corresponding with medical experts. She also provides support for clients through referrals for services. Lonnese represents VBG at outreach events and volunteers at social service agencies within her community. She earned her Bachelors degree in Social Work from Temple University and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Lonnese resides in the Delaware Valley with her husband and two children.
Alison Cappella Friel – Paralegal
With a keen interest in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Environmental Law, Personal Injury, Workers Comp and on occasion Criminal Law, Alison has been at the forefront of some of VBG’s most interesting and complicated cases. She brings the expertise of more than 12 years to her post, the last 4 at VBG. A mother of two, she resides in the Delaware Valley with her family. Alison holds an Associates Degree in Paralegal and Accounting.
June Boualam – Legal Secretary/Paralegal
June brings over two decades of expertise to her position at VBG. June joined our offices in 2008 and it’s her job to help with the countless details that face our lawyers each day. In addition to managing our attorney’s legal calendars, June helps prepare legal documents, revises case files and more. Prior to joining our firm, June served for 16 years as a legal secretary for the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Lisa Devlin – Case Manager
Lisa Devlin is in her fourth year as a Case Manager at VBG. She handles all aspects of client intake, complete case management and works directly with families who have loved ones that have been been seriously injured or the victim of medical malpractice. Lisa and her family live in Bucks County. Her professional experience also includes working for the American College of Physicians and the professional firm of Laventhol and Horvath.
Mary Q. Wilson – Paralegal
Mary has extensive medical malpractice experience with over 20 years in the paralegal profession. Mary comes to VBG from one of the largest medical malpractice firms in Washington DC where she gained valuable expertise on a wide range of complex cases. She holds a Masters Degree in History, and took her professional training at George Washington University’s renowned Paralegal Studies Program. An experienced scuba diver, Mary is also a trained Hospice Volunteer.
